What did you name your fish!!

dwarf gourami- killer ( on account that he killed my other one. made the mistake of getting 2 males)

 

I have named my cowfish "Elsie". My 3 chromis are "Hickery, Dick and Doc". I must feed Elsie 3 times a day so she won't eat everything else in the tank!

 

My flame hawk is named relapse because he looks stoned and paranoid
my GSM is named Jaws
My LMB is named Lenny
My late yellow watchman (rip) was barney
And one of the 3 chromis that passed in my crash was named Mike after microchromis

 

well, I have a theme going as you guys might seem appropriate. My yellow tail is named gibson, my ocellaris clown is named Fender, and my 6 line is named Martin

 

A solid name.

 

My two clowns are Krusty & Bozo, the coral beauty is Gabriel, the fire shrimp is Shrimpy & the crocea clam is (Calamity) Jane :laughings

 

i have a rule for my tank...you buy the fish you name the fish. that being said:

the two black clowns: tweedal dee and tweedal duh
red lip blenny: frank (i didnt name him, but i did buy him g/f named him)
coral beauty: jem truly outragous
blue spotted sea hare: sluggo

 

Almost all of mine are comic book characters
Starry Blenny : Venom
Orange spotted goby : Bruce Who is always in the bat cave
Pistol shrimp : Alfred because he is always cleaning the bat cave
Cleaner Shrimp : Napkin he always cleans my hands
Ocellaris clown : Omen hehehe you will get it
Black Clown is yet unnamed

 

Damsels---Humbug: Mo. Y-T: Po. Yellow: Sunshine (my daughter named them).
Yellow Tang: Cannot remember.......Daughter named him.......Probably Tang-ee.
Coral Beauty: Carly (My son named her---after a third grade beauty he knows in school).
Maroon Clown: Nemo (Daughter named her).
Lawnmower Blenny: Waldo (as in Where's Waldo? I try to find him daily. I named him).
Red Coris Wrasse: Rainbow (Both the kids came up with that one).

I like this thread.....glad someone found it.

 

I think this is a neat thread as well. I take it a step farther and name my inverts too lol.

4 green chromis- (to hard to name individually) are simply called "the boys" or "chromey's"
Peppermint shrimp- "Santa's little helper" and "candy cane"
one hermit crab- "king konk" but they all started changing shells and I lost which one he was.

I also have some new fishes (yes fishes there is more than one species) that I have not made an official announcement about or added to my sig that are awaiting names. (waiting on them to get settled in/pictures taken)



EDIT: Oh yeah I almost forgot, the fire fish I haven't gotten yet already has a name. When I get it, it will be named "Rubidium." (my brother the engineer is buying it for me, and he named it lol)
