what do bubble tip anemones eat??

what corals do you have?

 

green frogspawn, eagle eye morph zoas, pink frogspawn, rhodactis, mushrooms, anthelia, orange zoas, torch, leather, crazy neon GSP, probably more I am forgetting. Plan on placing a big order soon though.

I have 2 BTA's. I feed them 2 krill once a week, and every other week or so I feed them each a half a silverside.

When they were smaller and a little stressed, I would feed them 2 krill every day. Now they eat so well and quickly take the food to their mouths, I could probably feed them 1 whole silverside a week.

btw, there is a Falmouth, Maine as well. I used to live pretty close to there.

I feed my anemone a krill once a day, or every other day, depending on if it shows it's hungry. The mouth will pucker open and the tentacles will extend when they want to eat. My maroons are retarded and don't feed it, they steal food from it when they have the chance. Then, once a week, I will feed it half a silverside. I went to give it a silverside 2 days ago and it didn't like it and spat it back out. Mine is fussy, if the food isn't soaked in selcon, it usually rejects it, like this last silverside episode.

 

can anyone add a silver side pic to this thread so i can see what one looks like?

The last couple times, it has spat it back out. Either my silversides are freezer burned and the nem no longer likes it, or it just doesn't care for silversides now. It will eat krill, so it's just being a picky eater.
