What do I need to Purchase for Testing

    how can you keep less then 2 nitrates?!?!?!? :confused:

    yeah calcium and magnesium are important for corals, but other then that if you won't get corals then just focus on ph, ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. start out with a damsel or chromis, maybe even a clownfish just to get the cycle started.

    Use a shrimp from the supermarket. Never cycle with life fish.

    less than 2ppm

    I have 0 according to my test kits
    my 1st reading on the test kit I use (Red Sea) would be 5ppm
    if I have a slight colour, but its not the colour on the 5ppm scale
    then I may have 1 - 4 ppm nitrates
