Giesemann fixtures are considered excellent quality, I wouldnt know, too rich for my blood. You can get the same lighting for cheaper, if you want.

They're apparently awesome lights however do a little shopping around as that site (sorry if I offend anyone) is a bit on the higher price side of the interwebz.

Nice. Giesemann makes good units. Looks like for a 4x54W you would be paying about $570 if you got the legs along with it. Comes with good quality bulbs, that is a plus.

You could get a Tek for $400 from reefgeek.com and come out well also (includes the splash guard and legs in purchase price).

Another choice would be ATI. Those are, so far as I know, are approaching top of the line. Also on reefgeek.com. Those would run for a 4x54W about $550.

Given the choice between Giesemann and ATI, I would go ATI. I have a Tek and am very happy with it. You just need a splash guard to keep the salt off the reflectors. They stain easily.

If money is no object, I'd say get the Giesemann, they have a great reputation. As far as the ATI, I dont know about them, but if John recommends it, it must be good. There are many T5 units out there for less money and preform the same job. It all depends on you and your budget.
