    I'm still working out my understanding of leds and the info people put out on them, but if I understand things right this is how I see this one. If the 130-160 lumen out put (not the best way with out the spectrograph) is the total out put than they are not good. Cree is putting out close to that per watt, so if that's the total out put of the led, cree leds would be 3x better.

    But these last "a long time"...huh? A long time is how many hours? Would you buy a light from me with the sales pitch of: "The new light I got is bright." Neither would I. +1 to CREE for the DIY route.
