What do you add to your water for corals

    I add Seachem Reef Trace and Reef Plus besides BRS Ca and alkalinity. I add Mg as needed also.

    I add salt mix first, after years of experience in this hobby I think its a mistake not to use it.

    then I add calcium and magnesium as necessary.

    I straight water change...
    no dosing for my system...
    as for feeding the corals and other inhabitants....
    I go with DT's plankton mixed with reef roids and alternating with frenzy...I've started feeding this just this week and notice alot of my corals getting a better nutrition in there diet...
    just by looking at them flourish after the meal...
    I also feed freeze dried cylopeeze 2-3 times a week...

    BTW:
    most of the feeding I do with corals I mainly have my skimmer off due to overflowing...
    fellow forum member told me that it is caused by the oil and residue/film that the live plankton is in...
    after half an hour I switch my skimmer back on and just dial the skimmer down and it's back up to dry skimming...
