I just got back from Bradenton Florida on sunday and I had my dad feed the feed the fish and corals. I had him feed them every other day with a little hbh ocean nutrition flake and dose the calcium everyday along with the coral food I got from the tangster and everything went ok. The only thing I had to do was clean the glass and protien skimmer.

Some people asked on this thread about evaporation - I and moderator Jason both use the Tunze Osmolator. It is extremely reliable and accurate. With a large container or bucket, you can be gone a long time and not worry about evap. FYI.

My local reefing site- michigan reefers- has compiled a list with addresses and phone numbers of people in the hobby who would be willing to help with tank problems, vacations, etc. It seems like a friendly gesture, and may work in alot of circumstances. Maybe your local club has something similar? I also have a friend who has used a part-time LFS employee to do his tanksitting.
