What do you guys use to carry your water if you get it from your LFS. My LFS is a "fill yourself, bring your own stuff" thing. So I was wondering what you guys use to transport your water?

I was thinking maybe a couple of those Orange Home Depot 5 gallon buckets w/ lids? They were like a couple bucks ea.

I went to our local walmart and they only had like 3 gallon fill it yourself jugs. And I don't want to get a bunch of those.

I don't have room for an RO/DI, so getting water is just easier for me.

    Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I just bought a few 5-gallon jugs from my LFS....they were like $8 a piece. I'm sure they are cheaper options, but I really didn't care.

5 gallon buckets with lids. Home depot, Lowes and Menards and other places have them for around 2-5$ with lids.

i did the same thing and bought a orange home depot bucket but then i found out it was easier (for me) to just bring about 5-10 arizona icetea 1gal jugs. screw on top so you can fill them to the lid, easier to handle, more room in the car than compareed to a bucket that can tip over or spill.

I use 2.5 gallon jugs from the supermarket that came filled with distilled water to store and move my topoff water, and they would be decently good for carrying water from the LFS. Not too big so they're not too heavy, not too small so you need 500 of them, and they come prefilled.

Go to your local grocery store that has a bakery or an actual bakery. Ask for glaze buckets. They can be small or the 5 gall. onces but free.
    :)

PS they come with lids too.

When I carried my water I liked the plastic gas cans. Water only, of course.

The ease of removing and replacing the top is worlds less hassle than buckets, and pouring is more easily controlled. They're pricier than buckets, but worth it. I put a piece or two of yellow electrical tape on the body for easy ID at the LFS--always knew mine from everyone else's. They were popular.
