What do you make of this?

    Pacific Coast PS-350 Protein Skimmer

    Skimmers like that are fairly common in here, not that brand but a chinsese brand called "JAD" they are very cheap and propmise great but I have seen them perform and the bubbles wont even reach half the skimmer down only like a quarter of the skimmer before the collection cup, what do you make of this?

    I mean I know there are bad products out there but things like this make me really confused about what is what aquarists buy and if that kind of extra cheap stuff is worth it, I already know wich skimmer i am buying for my aquarium but just had this question in my head since some time ago, thank you!
