What do you think about these lights?

    what do you think of this t5 light for sps and softies. I would also like to keep clams but its fine if that light isnt enough power. I also found a Compact Flourescent fixture that puts out about 35-40 watts more. what do you think?
    by the way, I dont think that the CF comes with a parabolic reflector, and the t5 fixture has individual parabolic reflectors if im correct.

    It depends the depth of your tank. I have never had T5's so I cant give my opinion, but I did have PC's once and I was able to keep some corals with them. Some ppl swear by the T5's and the ability to house anything under them. Luna

    The only thing I don't have under my T5's is a Clam, yet. I like them because of the heat issues, I have none. There are other considerations like bulb life and total cost of the light system.

    I am running a DIY 8x54 watt bulb T5 system on my 75, although I have yet to turn on 2 of them since most of my corals have been under allot lower voltage T5's for months so I am acclimating them slowly.
