I have not had light for almost 2 weeks now because the glass on the lighting fixture shattered into my tank. I have contacted the supplier and i have not heard a word back from them after calls and emails. I finally just ordered the glass from marine depot and took it to my local glass store and they shattered the glass. Right now i am extreamly desperate and i am thinking about buying a whole new system! What do you think about this thing? Looks pretty good and the only thing i don't like it that it comes with odyssey bulbs, but i will switch those out in a couple months when everything is going steady again (if i buy it). My fish and coral are showing signs and i can tell that it will not be long until the whole tank is a dead sea. Any suggestion will help????

OK....Why did you take it to the glass shop? It should have been a direct replacement.

I had to get it cut to the right size. I tried to order it straight from the supplier with the exact measurments and have heard nothing back after a week! :(

Hmmm.... They should have known that it was tempered. Oh well.

Does your current fixture use Double Ended bulbs?

The fixture in question does not have the best reputation, but from what I can gather, their quality control has improved in the last few years.
