what do you think about this light?

I would not buy it. Bulbs do not have single light reflectors. No information about the ballasts. When it comes to lighting you get what you pay for. Unless you just want it for a FOWLR style tank, go with something else.

 

looks like it may be a good light. dont know. sometimes you get what you pay for. I looked at these when i was setting up my tank a little over a yr ago but decided against it because I didnt know anything about it. for the price it may be worth a try.

 

most of those chinese lights will grow corals depending on the setup but you just don't get the same performance as the nicer ones.

 

well i have an odyssea 4x 54w setup and i have to say, i have zero complaints about it. i have even dropped it in the water once a long time ago and its still going strong nearly a year later. i would be interested in a 6 bulb fixture in the future if money allowed.
