    I think since its summer time you should go to Toys R Us and look at their play sand...read it, it says natural bahama sand... :) I think they are the only ones that sell it tho..

    I would if I was doing a big tank, but im starting my nano don't need that much.

    When I was looking at it in the store it never said. It is very very fine sand.

    If you can't find the sand at Toys Petsmart has a 30lb bag of dry aragonite sand for $20.

    That's what I am going with for my 55. 30lb of argonite for $20. Good price. Idk how much to get though..

    I guess my Petco must just suck, because they only had this or a bag that was "live sand" and was wet and had water in it and they wanted alot of money for it, well a small bag of sand that is.

    yeh but the play sand at Toys R Us is VERY VERY fine sand from the carribean

    Home depot still carries the good stuff, just its now called "High Desert Play Sand"
    Put 150lbs in my 70g 2months ago and its doin great. only cost $18

    make sure you rinse it though

    edit: its has a really nice fine grain, and is very white, dissolves in vinegar.
