    You don't experience hang up when when writing files with that SSD?

    What do you mean hang up when writing?

    Is it out dated? I may get a new one. What would you recommend?

    I mean compaired to the HDD i had it is great. Windows boots up in under 30seconds.

    I had one like that (not crucial though)., it had slower write speeds than read speeds and it would lock up often during writing. The system would become unresponsive. Your specs are read speeds up to 500MB/s write speeds up to 175MB/s.
    The new Kinston Hyper X read at 540MB/s and write at 450MB/s. Thats what I use and it's much faster than the previous one I had. The newer SSD's support TRIM, you want that.

    What is trim? and does the one you use have that?

    Oh, well thats interesting. So how expensive are the SSDs that that support trim?

    TRIM is very important with SSD.

    i have a macbook pro 15in and will never use a dell again. macs are pricey but I'm in love with mine and couldn't have anything else. and that price sounds a little less then a 13in macbook pro.
