    I have a whisper 20 filter that i had bio media and a sponge to catch debris in that i took off my tank, and i was thinking about setting it back up but leaving the top off and putting cheato in it. i have a t5 light suspended 7 in from my tank so with the top off it would grow fine right? is this even practical? thanks!
