    would this work?

    I am considering changing my 100 gallon tank from destined to be reef to some non reef safe fish. So far I have a Kenya tree and alot of cabbage coral. I also have a dottyback. I am interested in having the following;

    Marine Betta
    Picaso Triggerfish
    Lionfish

    Would these work together? I know they would decimate my CUC and aren;t likely to be reef safe. These are probably 3 of my favorite 3 fish should I would love to be able to have them together if possible. Thanks for the thoughts.

    im going to say no, simply because the dotty back would be a snack for someone within a few mins..

    Its all relative the Lion and the Betta wont bother your corals but the dottyback will be fair game. The picaso will def not be reef safe.

    I can move the dottyback to my 55.

    Would a Betta/lionfish be alright with some Anthias? and or/ wrasse?

    Large wrasse yes. Anthias no. They will be food for the lion as well.

    You can do anthias if you do a dwarf fuzzy lion, as long as your anthias is bigger than your lion... I guess one of those pink squares are relatively big

    That tank would be perfectly fine if you didn't add the lionfish. Also, I had a Picasso Trigger that didn't touch any coral AT ALL during the years I had him. I wouldn't try any hermits or shrimp though, for it would most likely be a waste of money.
