My tank cycled with 100/lbs of live sand by itself. On August 29th, I added 90/lbs of base rock and 9.5/lbs of LR which ofcourse restarted my cycl again. It's only been about 2 and a half weeks and this is where I stand:

    Calcium - 380ppm
    KH - around 196.9ppm
    Po3 - 0ppm
    Ammonia - 0ppm
    Nitrite - 0ppm
    Nitrate - 20ppm
    PH -7.8
    Mag - 840ppm

I did start to get a case of the Diatoms about 3 days ago and I did add a few snails in to get rid of some of it.

My question is.........should I do a water change? I haven't done a water change. This would be my first. What do you all think?

If you are just cycling and have no fish then don't do a water change. It will just prolong your cycle. Let it be and let if finish!

Well....the only guy I have in there is my Damsel and a few snails.....that's it! BUT, if it's going to prolong the process, then forget it!

You shouldnt do a WC while cycling, it will prolong the cycling process. Keep in mind that a cycle CAN last up to 12 weeks. Since your starting a new tank, you only need to test for Nh3/4, No2 and No3 for now. When you begin to introduce corals, thats when you need to test for Mag, Cal, and Alk. I forgot to mention it to you, but check out this site.
