Those should be UVL brand I'm guessing. If they are then replace them with the same, if not buy UVL brand. I think you should be able to find them at Reefgeek.com.

It depends on what you are keeping and the color you want your tank to look.

UVL are supposed to be the best T12 bulbs.

Can I grow softies under those light?
Or can I only do fish only, i want corals!
I was ready some thread about lighting because I am trying to understand it more.
If i need to upgrade what should I look in too?

    My tank is 120 gallon, 24 " deep 48 " long and I have a canopy.
    What is retro fit?
I was reading and somebody said if they had a canopy to look in to retro fit something.

The VHO system is an older technology and is less efficient energy usage wise than todays T5 systems. it should easily allow you to keep softies in your tank and probably some LPS as well. For SPS corals I would recommend upgrading to MH although a retrofit T5 system in the canopy could work as well since you only have a 24" depth.

The retrofit kits allow you to replace parts in an existing canopy or fixture to upgrade your system for less than the cost of buying a brand new fixture - great if your good at DIY projects :)

Ho boy thanks for the reply I was starting to wonder if I could grow corals. I do plan on upgrading but not for a while, so just starting to learn the lighting thing.
