I am just wondering what else you guys/girls would recommend to make my tank complete. I am going to order a 192watt CP light of aquatraders in the next few days. I want to get a mated pair of clown fish and an anenomes. Should I get more turbos, crabs, or?

    What I have:
    30gal
    Hood with 17watt.
    30lbs of live rock
    100watt heater
    AquaC Remora Skimmer
    Fluval 204 Cansiter filter
    304gph PH

    Live stock:
    Scarlet hermit crab
    Velvet damsel
    Dawnmower blenny
    Cleaner shrimp
    Turbo snail.

    Thankz

Hey there, I would suggest probably a little stronger lighting for the anemone, some anemones do alright at the lower range of lighting if you want to use the wpg rule, however, to be on the safe side you may want to increase the lighting or go to metal halide. You would be running around ~6 wpg at diffusing through 18" depth if I remember correctly. I currently have a BTA running at 9.6 wpg and even so I want to get him under Halides (diffusing through 10.5" depth). Just remember, anemones are not suggested for novices however with proper care and knowledge you'll be fine but perhaps try some easier corals before hand? I'll post up a great site once I find it for yeah to look at. Furthermore, how long has your tank been established for? How long has it been smooth sailing? You shouldn't usually add an anemone before the tank has established itself usually a minimum is around 6 months of so.

As for the pair of clowns that sounds good, you'll probably be maxing out your stocking load in terms of fish though or close to it.

In terms of your clean up crew, you'll probably want to add more snails and crabs, a diverse group is best to target various types of algae/detritus cleaners etc.

    Anyways hope this helps,

    Alex

OOOO, those are Power Compact Florescent (PC by most of us :)) Well, for a 30 gal tank i think that those pc should be pretty good for the softies and some easier hard corals :)
