Found this on craigslist. If I had a good fishroom I could see buying it.

You should be glad you got out of Santa Maria, that place is not somewhere you would want to live. The only good thing about that place is the lfs down in Orcutt.

Yeah, SM is turning into real trash. I've never seen so many violent crimes on the central coast. Lets see, we have Atascabama, Lompton and now I need to think of something to call Santa Maria......

I'm so glad I live in Osos

I like the way you think.

I have never seen a GW in our area. Not saying they arent there but grew up surfing everywhere from Jalama to Plaskett Creek and never saw any shark. Guess I am lucky.

Ya Nipomo was usually the "bad" spot back 10-15 yrs ago. My wife is from Salinas and there's plenty of stories i've heard there. Although its pretty country.

Oh man, that channel you cross when heading out to the break in Jalama is a hunting ground for the sharks. I've seen a sea lion bitten in half a few yards from me while surfing abalones. I even got a nice bump from something on the bottom of my board when I decided I had enough "sights" for the day.

    Bwahahaha, Santa Murderita. Classic!

You're not far off from Nipomo. Aside from the meth labs and cockfighting rings getting busted every now and then, it's a hell of a town....

Ya my bro lives in Orcutt, right close to hwy 101. He's not a "fish guy" though, has a business called CafeFX. Its somewheres between orcutt and Santa Maria, kinda on the border i guess.
