    A mandarin would work but it may starve eventually if the pod population goes down... usually for only 1 year old tanks or older also...

    That's so funny I am looking for pods to add to my tank. I keep loosing mandarins and I hear the pods are the cure. One mans trash...another mans treasure right?

    Pods are the cure, and parasites, Mandarins need them to thrive! Make sure yo get more, if you want to keep your poor Mandarin alive. Like bm said, well estabolished and larger tanks!
