Basics: 30 gallon tank that holds about 33 gallons ( I did the math).

Fish must be reef safe. All Angels are out.

Fish must be appropriate size for tank but I'll push for a cool fish like a mystery wrasse.

    No perchers either.

No fish that must be feed multiple times a day, and no Dragonets.

Goal is 5 small reef fish, two will be clowns, I already have a Pink Skunk.

    Thanks for the assist.

Aren't you worried the skunk will attack other clowns? I like the Damsels.☺

I guess it depends on what you like vs what everyone else likes. I would love to see a candy basslet in your tank, but that's not for everyone.

Out of your options I would say the fire fish.

Given that we have similar sized tanks, I absolutely love my marine betta, he's just a baby at 2.5", but he gets along well with everything else in the tank (no shrimp or crabs)

maybe some type of small filefish. Idk, I don't keep crab or shrimp so I don't have to worry.

A trio of glass cardinals would be cool.

Pink Streaked Wrasse!! By far my favorite fish (if you couldn't tell by my profile picture). Shy at first but so pretty to watch. Can guys say pretty? He comes to greet me every time I walk by the tank, probably hoping for the food god.

Love my yellowtail damsel. He's one of the most peaceful fish I've ever kept, and that blue neon glow that he gets when he's excited is totally awesome. :)

No because I am going to order a clown from iBluewater specific to the fact it must be a gender undetermined small clown. IBluewater is really a good resource for that type of request, they know their clowns.

The trio of Fire Fish is high on my list. Betta's are too cryptic for me and of course as you know they get too big.

Candy basslet is out of my price range. Too much for a fish that might jump through a crack or fall victim to disease.

Very interesting, that might be a go. I like wrasses and they are good at picking off pest from Acropora. Honestly I do not ever remember seeing an established one in a tank, so if it adds an element of color that sounds like a go.

My favorite of the Blue Damsels by far. Really the only type of Blue Damsel I have kept long term. And they add a ton of color and activity.

I loved your Starcki, but did you say they had different nutritional needs? Was he not a tad aggressive?

Depends on the tankmates. He would be fine with the clowns and a sharknose goby.☺Mine eats everything except spectrum pellets. They are planktivores.
