I am new to the saltwater side of aquariums. I just wandering what are some easy fish to start out with? My aquarium has been up and running for about seven weeks now and is now ready for some fish. I would love a pair of clowns and a pigmy angel. Will these fish get along together?

I have two Perculas in my RSM and Tomato and Fire Clowns in my 110 Gal, I swear they are the toughest things I have ever seen.

Hi 4phish - I dont see any issues with the fish combination you have stated - but if you want corals then the pygmy angel may turn out lucky or unlucky for you. Even the often reef safe ones can develop a taste for pecking at corals ( flames, beauties, rusty have all had that nasty habit in my tanks over the years)

I've got two very hardy fish..3 really. My maroon clown has been with me since 2001 and my engineer goby came shortly after(within a month) My other hardy one has been the foxface,(2003) but that's kinda big for a 60.

:eek:no kidding! was the fish sick or was the crab just huge?? Had I known what I know now, I would have bought two different mated pairs, as long as they all got along together. My maroon is so mean to anything new that comes in. He might be taking the Ziploc trip to the lfs store soon, if he doesn't straighten up. Maroon's are(most) very aggressive
