We are starting over again with fish in our reef tank. It seems we can't keep fish alive for more than a couple of months. All params are good & our coral is doing fine - the tank is almost 2 years old.

We were thinking just on having one good-sized fish - any suggestions?

    TIA,
    julie

This is a 90g tank right? Did all the fish that died come from the same vendors? Only reason I ask is so you won't have a repeat of what happened with fish deaths, did you find the source of why they all died?

Lots of possibilities for one fish but it may seem fairly empty with just one. What types are you thinking of? It's kinda like saying "I'm hungry for food", very broad :).

You're right - I'm not being very clear. With the exception of 5 chromis, they all came from the same lfs. I do not know the source of why they died. Some died right away & some lived for 3-4 months.

Was thinking about a predator, or something that gets to be 6"-8".

get a harlequin tusk, I love them, but of course they eat inverts too & my tank is too small, so I can't have one :(

I'm not familiar with these - how big do they get & are they reef safe?
