Thanks for the suggestions. As far as the angelfish are concerned - we've had 3 coral beauties die on us :(

They are beautiful when small but grow quickly. My LFS once had a two footer that someone brought in and it wasn't very nice looking and would make a mess of a 90 gal. tank.

    My suggestions for the 90g-

    Chevron Tang - Ctenochaetus Hawaiiensis
    Chevron Tang

    Purple Tang - Zebrasoma Xanthurum
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Purple Tang

    Magnificent Foxface - Siganus Magnificus
Saltwater Aquarium Fish for Marine Aquariums: Magnificent Foxface

Chevrons are a little touchy till you get them eating prepared food. Purples once eating and get established are pretty hardy! and Foxfaces are Bullet Proof seems to be! Be forwarned that foxface's spines are venomous!

Thanks for the responses - I appreciate it.

Question: When a description of a fish says that it's compatable with reef aquariums "with caution", what does that mean exactly - will they eat the corals?

It means they may eat coral, they may not. Also means they may eat clams, shrimp, other inverts, etc.
