    Need Help with an ID, Does anyone know what this is ??? I have a few of them in what looks like different stages of development. They are incredibly fast and look like a flea or something.

    More importantly are they bad?

    Sorry about the poor image. If needed I could try for a better one

    +1 on amphipod. My fish just got a treat of them a little bit ago when I shook the chaeto out in the tank LOL.

    I agree. They are good for you tank. Certain fish eat them. If you get a mandarin dragonet, then that is all they will eat, nothing else. So most people that has a refugium will grow them in it.

    Even if your a proreffer there are still literally over 2 billion life form in the ocean so trust me when i tell you its fine. But how big is it I cant tell by the picture?

    It is about 2cm or so. ( pencil tip I guess )

    most lickley its a pod of some sort and arer good as described above so congrates LOL
