what foods?

i have New Life spectrum thera A pellets and soak it in garlic guard, i also feed some frozen formula 2 and mysis shrimp. When i run out of the frozen will it be ok to just feed the pellets? or do i need to feed them other foods? i also mix in a little flake food. But just wondering if the pellets have all the nutrition they need or if i should supplement with frozen? or nori sheets?

I would always feed some type of variety even if its onlt 2 or 3 different things

 

Ok well my tang seems to love the formula 2. And everyone else loves just about anything i put in their. I guess ill stick with the 3 i have been using. Every day a few pellets with garlic guard and then every other day i give 1/2 pellet of mysis and 1/2 pellet of formula 2

 

Yea that sounds good i dont have experience feeding marine fish because im new but a varied diet is best...id say what your doing is perfectly fine

 

Feed that tang some seaweed clip from time to time. The others might eat that as well when it gets ripped and soggy.

I like to make my own food.

Fresh! Mussels, scallops, mysis, tiger shrimp, coral smoothie, red, green, brown algea, garlic + blender. Next time I'm adding Selcon.

I went to culinary school in Australia to be a chef. Fresher is always healthier, and when you make your own and freeze you end up with so much.
