what goes into a qt?

    im wondering what goes into a quarantine tank? chemical wise?

    Well... that depends on what you are quarantining. For fish, I would use Melafix or some other slimecoat product.

    As for coral.... depends once again.

    SPS get Interceptor.

    Not a big fan of chemicals, so I am not the most familiar with them.

    Unless your specifically targeting something, nothing. a quarantine is exactly that, a place to put corals or fish by themselves to watch and make sure that they are not sick. the only time your going to put chemicals in there is id they are sick. then it will all depend on what is wrong.

    in a quarantine? well lets say you have ick, you have a large array of treatment such as copper, malachite green, formalin, methylane blue (i think its called), and a lot more stuff. depends on the purpose of the QT
