    i was at my tank putting some seaweed in and there was a smell coming from within the tank, i looked around nothing looked to be dying or dead, but my toadstool was tipped over again. So when i want to move him this is what i found.....




    is he drying or detaching himself? the head looks ok

    Says its a toadstool, apparently on a piece of LR. Looks to be about 5" x 5"

    Hate to say it but if you smelled death an your toad looks that bad I'd say it's dead. They stink to high heaven when they decompose. Sorry for your loss.

    when he was open, he was about 7" to 8" round
