Been into FW tanks and breeding etc for longer then I can remember..

Always wanted to try SW but the added equipment and chemicals etc always made me hold off.

Then I got a deal on a complete running system that I couldn't refuse, even if it meant taking down one of my FW's to appease the Wife that I wasn't "adding" yet another tank.

Now I'm in the process of planning out the change over for one of my 46Gal bows to salt.

Side note: the additional tanks ended up happening anyway (Two 8gals in the SW stand for copepods) and will be a 20gal going under the bow for a sump.

I wandered in to "Jeff's exotic fish" in Costa Mesa, Ca one day and began looking at their show tanks and fish/corals. That was the first time in my adult life that I had been in a saltwater fish store and I fell in love. So, I guess there wasn't one fish or coral that did it for me, I just love how the entire reef is living and interacting.

I was gifted a green spotted puffer by someone that obviously no idea what kind of carr he required. It was either let him die, drop him off on the lfs doorstep at night and run, ooor get into the hobby. I love it now!

Fish are friends... and food. Omnomnom.
