What Happened to my tank

over the last couple hours my tank went from clear to foggy

anyone with any ideas, and maybe how to fix

are you running carbon? if so change it, if not get some. and test the water

 

bacteria bloom probably.

whats your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?

 

Did you have something stir the sand? Did a powerhead do some re-working of the ocean floor?

 

well i will be testing all the params tomarrow, i need new test kits, and the carbon filters are only 5 days old

 

did you add salt or any chemicals?

 

that 3rd pic is a trip. look closely and you can see a grouper, damsel, and a b. cardinal in the background behind the sail fin tang...also there is an anemome in one of the pics. how old is that tank and what size is it. thats alot of livestock! and the grouper will get big quick.

 

oh and what appears to be a clarki clown.

 

it is a 55gal

the tank is prob about 5 months old

there is a white purple tip nem in there
a bicolor angel, blue damsel, panther grouper, sailfin, percula clown, black percula, b.cardinal,ebli angel, hippo tang, turbo snail, coralbanded shrimp, and a brittle star

 

thats way to much for a 55, 5 months way to new, i would remove the anemome. imo. the hipp tang gets big, the grouper will get huge and is a messy eater. the sailfin with get rather large and requires lot of room for swimming. have you ever tested your water?
