I won't be the only one to say this but your tank is way over stocked. You are setting yourself up for high test results. As far as the water I have no idea why it is cloudy.

WOW--Way to much livestock in a 55!!! Have a feeling it is a bacteria bloom-maybe the load exceeded the filtration capability and the bacteria is trying to catch up. JMO

Some of these fish can grow to be one quarter the length of the tank. I don't see how these stock lists can be a good and healthy long-term solution. Especially as the fish grow they will require more food and oxygen especially which will make it more difficult to keep your water quality up and your fish alive. I hate to join in with the pessimistic crew but that's my opinion.

I would kill the lights and stop adding food until it clears. Should only take a few days.

Looks like you have an ammonia spike or algae bloom. I have seen cloudy water during tank cycling when NH3 and NO2 are present i nthe water. Your tank is heavily stocked for being only 5 months old. Your bioload has overworked your bio-filtration system as Tangster said, and this is the result. What type of skimmer are you running?

Your tank is heavily stocked. Well it's more the bioload that some of your fish create, to state more accurately. One of the biggest "poopers" is your volitans, they create waste that 4 or 5 "normal" fish create. Do keep in mind that he will outgrow a 55G tank fairly quickly in his life. I'm guessing he is still small, since he hasn't eaten the damsels or any other fish.
