So I got porcelain crab from my LPS. It was moving around in the tank, in the bag, still moved. I got home 20 minutes later & it was dead, wouldn't move. I waited over night & still no response.
What happened? This ever happen to you?

Did the pet shop add water from a different tank into the bag water? PH problems are a major concern with inverts, especially.

it did die in the bag. I think the girl, not the main lps guy, may have used water from another tank, but I can't be for sure. Because I was focusing on something else.

Sounds like that may of been what happend. Either that or the temp of the water inside the bag got too hot or too cold in transit from your LFS and your home. How long was the bag exposed to open air? I would try and take it back to your LFS and see if they'll give you credit. Sorry for your loss.

The owner said that he does not guarantee fish after they leave, but he'd give me credit.

I think that if any animal dies in transit and is not subjected to anything besides being left alone and dies in the bag it should be replaced right away. no matter what it is.

Agreed. There's no way it could have been his error, which is usually the basis for the "no guarantee" policies.
