    depends on the skimmer and pump. possibility of overflowing the skimmer, but chance are nothing. Its not necessarily the power you want to worry about, its the how many micro bubbles the pump makes. That IMO is more important, that is where impeller type comes in

    I wouldnt put that pump on a skimmer. You can imporve your impeller on the existing pump. I have used fishing line before
