    I just looked at some of your website. Thats a really nice candycane colony you have there. I have one just like yours but not as big or nice. But its growing. I love these corals.

    I agree with inwall. I had a star that was injured far worse than yours is and I found that daily feedings of meaty foods helped it heal faster/better than if I hadn't target fed it. Good luck!

    Well the whole top ripped open, you can see clear into it. Surprisingly enough its still alive I'll post a pic if it comes out from behind the rocks. Thanks for asking.

    IMO it's directly reletad to your low PH/Calcium. IIRC they need calcium, like we need blood.

    I have tried to correct the low pH/calcium by adding buufer and liquid calcium, this inturn caused my Alk to go to high a drove my calcium lower. What a mess; I have read several articles that other members have posted, about this situation. I think that once I get the alk down from 7meq/L, I'm going to try to bring the calcium/pH up by using "Pickling lime" limewater. But The way my luck is, I will mess that up somehow. Thanks to all for your concern.
