What have I gotten myself into....

Have you seen fish or corals that have caught your eye that you might want to put in your tank?

I am sure that others here will suggest this - but when it is time for corals, additional equipment etc - there is a sponsors section at the bottom area of the forum thread page. Definitely go check those sites out for ideas and deals, etc.

You can also do what i do and that is to type a keyword into the search bar at the top of the webpage - it should bring up a history of threads and posts with that particular subject matter in it. I get started with one search and about 4 hours later.....let's say that time can fly.

There is also a way to subscribe to a thread that catches your interest so that you are updated / notified when new posts are made.

This might be a stupid question...but how come I can't see my own profile picture in the threads? I can see it if I view "public profile".

Am I doing something wrong?

 

Profile picture and avatar are different things. The avatar is what is seen in the threads. Click "User CP" and on left side of screen select "Change Avatar." then you can set it up!
