Lots of stuff lately. More sps frags, one is a LARGE piece of neon orange Monti.

Got one more Base rock, a 6# piece!

And, I raised my filter bag up and most of the way out of the sump today.
I made sure that when it overflows, it'll be 'nothing but sump', that the overflowing water will go to.

Actually cleaned my skimmer today. The whole thing. Looks like new. ;D Also, added a 100 micron filter sock to the drain into the first sump. We'll see how that goes.

For me, it's a filter BAG, that still overflows about every 3-5 days.

Be careful you have the area of over flow still over your sump, people have soake their floors like this when the sock/bag overflows!

2 days ago, I gave a fellow reefer:

-a gallon bag stuffed full of chaeto
    -~2 square inches of GSP
    - ~1-2 Sq. inches of encrusting gorgonean
    - ~6 green striped discoma mushrooms
    - several clumps and a large cut of Kenya Trees

All the above was free to him- well not free, he did bring me a 6-pack of WI spotted Cow beer!

Then, he asked about my Blue and Green Candycanes!

So, I got him about 10heads of a blue candy cane on a hunk of live rock,
and about 5 heads of Green candycane I glued to a piece of rubble-

    And charged him $20 total!

I think it was fair, all the corals were perfiect when he got them. He texted that they are doing well in his tank.

This is another thing I like about Reefing- meeting, trading, and getting good deals from other reefers, and helping those along the way, while learning a lot at the same time!
