    Checked the two shaving brush plants I put in yesterday. Cursed the recent algae outbreak. Told the snails to get to work on the algae outbreak I just Cursed and Started to cure the live rock rubble I received today for my fuge.

    I check
    I checked my params to include phosphate and calcium. All within range. Trying to figure out why my BTAs are not eating.

    I put sand in my new tank yesterday, ordered 30lbs rock from reefcleaners.com (ONLY $63, free shipping), my first cyano outbreak for this tan is starting. Sort of excited? lol

    GFO running day 2 now. I don't have bad algea but I do have some. Should I go dark for a couple days? Or just use the moon light?

    I got up at 3am today and left for MACNA for 3 days. I see via my sig that my tank is quite warm again. This happened last time we went out of town. I am miffed that I forgot about that and did not leave a nearby window open. I will learn!

    My wife hates my tank. I can't do anything to it without hearing her complain. It's the money and the time that bothers her, but mostly the money. Nothing is cheap in this hobby. Got a GFO reactor and that was $100 ish with pump and all. That's considered cheap!! Haha.
    But literally everyday I'm doing something. From cleaning glass inside and out to emptying skimmer cup to feeding.
