    My green star polyp hasn't opened in 2 days. Used a toothbrush to clean it. Hopefully that will work.

    Also siphoned sand and a 10g water change

    Started my daily Kalc/vinegar drip.

    Lent the clubs PAR meter to a fellow reefer- gave him a frag of orange plating Monti and a gallon bag of chaeto for stopping by- he was also one of the ones who had helped with my DT transfer in June 2014
    He also brought his wife who was amazed at my DT.

    Recently modified my 2 WP 40's in my DT- too much flow now!

    Keeping my reef between 75-76F now- seems to be working well.

    Vacuumed the substrate ( first time since the tank swap).. scrubbed a little GHA off the rocks and from inside the overflow... blasted the rocks with the turkey baster.... tested the water.. cleaned the socks filter ( soaked a bunch in bleach overnight).. cleaned the pumps and skimmer...took a picture of this fired up Mandarin when I started stirring up the substrate..

    Today,
    I changed out my DC1200, for a new DC1200. Keeping the one that was working as my spare. Long story, but this new one was acquired via exchange. Only paid for one though, a fellow reefer gave me one that had failed and his person would not warranty it.
    Perhaps a slightly dirty impeller on the old one, but I have slightly more flow with this one.- slightly.

    I also cleaned my Frag rack/area in my sump.

    I also moved my WP 40's from the front of my C2C overflow;
    to the back wall, just under my C2C- now no vortexs for air get pulled in.
    Why didn't I do that from the start?

    I also re-arranged some coral and rock.

    I also glued some more GSP top the front of my C2C overflow.

    I recued a Turbo snail from a large hermit crab.

    After I had ran my Kalwasser drip in my sump.

    Changed out my filter bag and cleaned a few and rinsed a few bags.

    All in a morning off work!
    I love tinkering with this!

    Embraced the waterlogged powerstrip for my lights and WP25s and covered my tank with a blanket for a blackout. We will just see how the cyano likes having no light. Hopefully my coral doesn't get too pissed.

    Today I:

    had 52g of SW at 35 (1.0265) and temp to 78F;
    I vacuumed water and some detritus to my floor drain,
    and Mag3 pumped the New SW back up to my sump- 52g. 52g is just less than half of my sumps WV.

    I also took out the egg crate chaeto divider and frag rack in my sump and wiped them down with bleach,
    washed and scrubed with a toothbrush, and replaced them in my sump. (the new black egg crate had that stringly stuff growing on it)

    Pulsating xenia was taking over my tank! Finally got in there and wiped about 80% of it out. Looks much better than before. Wish I would of never put that in my tank...

    Feeding and routine glass cleaning today on my 60 cube. Filled up my 7 ft long 220 tank in the garage for a leak test after resealing. All's well so far! Im going to leave it sit for a week to be sure before i drain it. Then i need to decide if that tank or the 6 ft long 210 will be my DT. The other will be put up for sale to finance goodie for the build. Hoping it will pay for the lights....we'll see. Also cleaned an old 30 gal tank which will probably end up as a refugium. Looking forward to starting to put stuff together.
