Changed the filter sock and blew sand off my rocks with the power head. Starring at a dull tank patiently awaiting lights:mad:

vacuumed the sand.. scrubbed excess GHA off of the back side of the rock and cleaned the overflow ....did a 20-% water change.. cleaned the sock filter and skimmer... cleaned the impellers on the DT return pump, GFO and carbon reactor pump and skimmer pump .. lastly... I rearranged the lights ... ( this is a 4' long 75 gallon ) after the swap from my 65... I had a 4' t-5 strip along the back, and 2 2' t-5 strips in the center and a 3' ( it came with the new tank) LED day/night light in the front.... the 2 - 2' t-5's were starting to bow the center brace so I moved them forward where they are better supported ... the 4' strip to center and the 3' LED to the rear of the tank... I like it better and is should be better for the tank..my anemone has already adjusted itself to the new light scheme..

Traded some merchandise to my LFS for a melanarus Wrasse.
I have one already, this one is already more colorful, and I'm told when there is a pair, one reverts to male in most cases. The really colorbul one- the male.
They had him in a tank that was BB. They have only had it 2 days-
So I made up a makeshift QT with DT water, heater, air bullbler filter, and a small tray with some CC/sand from a tub in my sump.
Almost immediately, he burryed himself in the cc/sand.

I'll QT for a short time to make sure it's not sick. I'd hate to wipe out my DT b/c I got a new colorful wrasse.
And I realize wrasses' aren't too sickly, but any fish could be carrying disease.

cleaned out my floss (I know Todd - I shouldn't have it but it basically serves as my filter sock) cleaned skimmer, added new ATI bulbs - changed my combo for this time around - 2 blue plus, 1 purple plus, and 1 coral plus. Am looking forward to lights on to check out the difference. Continued trying to capture my hector's goby and the sexy shrimp in my overflow - still no luck - they must really like it in there :( changed out phosguard and replaced with a new bag of clear fx pro - am wondering if my phosguard is contributing to my softies (leathers) not extending - a little experiment to see.

Added a reactor to run rowaphos and switched out my Kent reactor for a new reef octopus to run my biopellets. What difference in reactors, the bio pellets have a more even churn.

I was yesterday but since it has been less than 24 hours, I'm gonna say it counts for this thread. Moved the 125 sump into the basement and began to mock up the set up. Got the stand for the 220 display tank ready for sanding and got the glass for the C2C.
