    Cut a hole in the wall for access to my sump refug on my new tank rebuilt the stand wired 2 big power bars to there own circuit fuse hung the light put tank on stand in place with help of friends ;)

    ... now I gotta clean the mess ;(

    i ordered salt hahahaha and exercised my damsel in the nano tank with the laser pointer....when he's tired he's not so mean ...kinna like a bad dog

    I drained my main tank, moved all of my corals to a 10 gallon, put all of my fish and lr into a 5 gallon bucket, and sifted the hell out of my sand :lol: All because of a bunch of tank problems :(

    I hope all is well.

    FWIW- early on a I went from a DSB to about 3/4 inch average b/c I read about probs that could occur.

    I'm hoping you come out of this all the better, what ever you decide.

    I quit using my filter socks- actually large bags!

    and replace it with a large mesh bag, with a smaller mech bag of AC in the bottom.

    So far, things look great! water is crystal- I of course judge that by looking thru end to end on my 6ft DT

    I'm trying to keep a few more things my corals would use oout of the water column instead of most of it being filtered on the first pass by my filter sock/bag.

    I think I'm going to like this!- one less thing to clean on a bi weekly basis- my bucket of 3-4 filter bags!
