Depending on how much you have to raise the DT vs. Room temp- it should help alot.

I "think" DT water temp is 72deg if my thermometer is correct.. I youtubed this heater and I guess I can raise it up to 1,000w? We shall see. For $40 it's worth a shot.

Today I realized that my sump still had a slow leak. So I drained that section and siliconed every seal.
I tested parameters and my alk, ca and mg was low so I'm dosing 3 part to get levels good and then try to set up my reef keeper to control the dosing pumps.
I did a 10 gal water change on the 29g bio cube which only has the copperband in it at the moment. (He's still only eating feather dusters and I'm about to run out of them)
I also did a 90% water change on the 150g discus tank.
And now I'm sitting down in front off my tank and observing.

Have you tried clams on the half-shell for your copperband? It's easy, you can pick up the little steamers at the grocery store. Pop them in the freezer and defrost them in some warm water... The shells open right away. Just remove the top shell and put the other in the tank. My new copperband wouldn't eat until I tried that.

Yep tried that. He kept his distance and wanted no part of it but that was last week. I'm gonna go defrost one now and try it again. Thanks

Today I finished filling my 55g tank with Ro/DI, dumped a 50g bag of kent salt in, put in my Mag 3 and heater in prep. for my monthly 52g WC's.
I of course replaced several coral and frags on rubble in the DT.
    I cleaned/brushed my C2C overflow, etc.
