Agreed. I've held off moving further until the weekend when I can pick up 175gal of saltwater to complete the scrubbing, followed by a water change after. Along with a good sump cleaning.

Mbd.. I have my sump, chaeto, and skimmer for nutrient removal. I'm adding a Dual Reactor with carbon and Phosguard here soon as well. I had the perfect storm of casualties hit my tank at once. Slowly bouncing back.

If you need help chris let me know. I've done this before, lol. I've just started some phosgaurd and I like it better than GFO. It's working good and so easy to use. Rinse it good though.

pick up a sea hare or a bristle tooth tang. they will do quick work of any GHA, do more frequent water changes and cut down on feeding.

I put two seahairs in there last week and both ended up becoming fish food for my Desjardini.

IMO, manual removal is best. It's never a sure fire way that said animal will touch whatever species of algae is growing. Plus adding something to just remove could be a bad idea in the long run. Now a toothbrush doesn't care what algae is growing!!! Lol.

    I installed a sea swirl 1". Pretty cool :)
Installed my chiller as well. Finally got it. I was so happy when I saw it.
After installing the chiller, a PVC seal broke and briefly flooded under my stand. About a gallon of water. So I had to vacuum that.
A very productive day and looking forward to tomorrow. I'm taking the day off to frolic around my tank :)

I've already taken care of the problem in my tank, now it's just getting the residual OUT.
