What have you done to your set up today?

Changed sump light to an LED Cree daylight bulb from HD... $6....and worth every penny.

 

Added Tunze 3152 (I have no idea why a waited so long to get this)and moved pump location and tube length for return pump.

 

Looked at my sump, skimmer cup before work this morning and thought 'I can empty tonight after work.
Turned on the lights to my FW DT downstairs on the Bar- fed the fishes.
Currently doing a 13hr shift, while my 180's DT lights cycle on, cycle off, and the SW fish wonder, hey, where's that dorky guy who feeds us at?

 

Cleaned my skimmer inside and outside...

 

completed my Monthly 52g WC. Siphoning what detritus from the sump I could get to in the process as I usaully do.

Sat and watched the coral grow

 

I got a Maxspect Gyre, and loving it!

 

Awesome I've been looking at getting one.

 

Checked params. Worked on my diy ro/di ato and saltwater station. Getting closer to finishing it up.

Sat and marveled and how things have grown in the short time I've had them.

 

Woke up to a MP40 not working.... after 30 minutes of trying to reset it in the dark - I turned some lights on in the room, only to see a turbo snail wedged in the wet side. Pulled it out. Works good as new.... Next time I will turn the lights on first

 

that's funny. The nem has been moving around the tank the last couple of days and last night we spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how we were going to get a mandarin that it had stung out of the tank. When we put our plan in motion, we disturbed the mandarin and she swam off. Was grief strucken and worried about a sleeping fish! BUT... I had my lights on.
