Thanks Todd. I channeled my inner DIY Todd_Sails and came up with this for a filter sock in my sump. Don't hate! but I think it may just work!

I am working on a new build and slowly piecing things together. Picked up my Trigger Sump today for the build.

Are you having to store your water in the garage or just have the rodi unit in there?

I don't have anything yet.. My mindset is if I have to carry from the garage, I might as well drive the 3.2 miles to my LFS and fill up the water tote and park my truck in the back yard. It's actually less manual labor to do it this way. Todd mentioned using one of my bathrooms for my RO/DI. I'm thinking about getting a water container and putting it behind my tank and building an addition to my stand to cover it. Then I could simply run a line from my spare bathroom to the water container behind my tank.

My DIY filter sock is working better than expected. It has quieted my drains to the point I can only hear the air bubbles in my skimmer!

If you were to get a water tank to keep in your garage with the RODI unit you could run a pipe/hose and either add a pump or gravity feed it to your tank area. If you are running the water horizontal you wouldn't even need a big pump. Just a thought. I am actually thinking of getting a big water tank and doing something similar but being broke really sucks in this hobby. Big plans, little budget.
