Today I add some more chateo in the refugium as well I moved the chateo from my shower cuddy that was in the display tank into the refugium and the shower cuddy is now acting as a frag rack with a bunch of newly fragged mushrooms...

Not to mention I got a new baby today!! Kole tang!

    Fed frozen 'Limpits Reef Buffet

Made a new container for my DIY phosguard Reactor, I noticed some cyano on a few of my rocks and I needed to replenish the phosguard in it, before things get out of hand.

Yesterday I went to restand my rather large PNB that had fallen over.
When I did, others started falling also, and it soon seemed like a domino effect.

I eneded up re aquascaping part of my DT, in an effort to have more stable placements of several corals.

I ended up damaging several slighltly, and glued them back the best I could.

Always seems to be an issue.
Hopefully this placement will last at least a fews weeks.

I was wanting to add some GAC, and you know me, wanted to do it the cheapest and best way to actulaly silter most of the flow to my sump, etc.

My DIY INtank Overflow (like a RR overflow), has a shelf sort of area- where it goes from 6" ID, to 4"ID.

    Then I realized I had a media bag 12" x 4".
I filed this about 1/2 way full, and layed it in a 'c' shape on this shelf in my overflow to filter nearly all the ater thru the GAC every pass to the sump!

Works awesome, and it now works as my noise suppressor instead of putting chuck of coarse sponge on that shelf!

    Win win for me.

Well, I really like the ideas I get from others- actually the purpose of this thread!

I've recently rearranged part of my scape, to get more room for my growing corals, and to get the FARTHER from my LEDs- still twealking that one actually.
    Pics soon in another thread.

And, I redirected some of my power heads to get better/more consistent flow over my sps's, and to keep down any dead spots.

I'm also about to use a different container for the PS section of my KIY sump so that I can get more direct flow over my huge chaeto area, and to actually give my chaeto area more room!

    You?

Checked salinity on my batch of make-up. Sitting at 1.025. Water change and slight vacuum of the sand surface this afternoon.

Did a 45 gallon water change. Razor bladed the hard stuff off the glass. Took a thin layer of sand off. Rearranged some corals. Did a tank feeding. Changed out my sock and cleaned power heads.

Yesterday I pulled out a bunch of GHA, fed the Nem, added a Koralia Evo 1400 and rearranged the water flow, and cleaned the front glass so I could take pictures of the tank.
