What have you done to your set up today?

Did 10% water changes on 3 of my tanks and changed carbon on 2 of them. Moved some corals around, trying out my new epoxy as well. Gave my BSJ a bunch more shells, small rocks, and a frag plug to continue building his home. Moved a PH to see if I liked it better.

 

the only thing I have done today is curse the second diatom bloom

 

Failed to get my 3 vortech set up on master slave, reprogrammed my radion and significantly lowered the intensity. Trying to get around to fraging

 

Fraging what?

 

I've done absolutely nothing. Actually for all of 2013 I've done nothing.. At this rate my tanks gonna hate me!

 

Ok, added anoth 2/3 cup of ecobak, reprogrammed my radions and updated the firmware, reset my vortechs and set them to reefcrest, cleaned up the inside debris and organized a little softie garden, more on that in the future. Bought 2 giant clams and a maxi mini for great prices and acclimated them, and finally bored out a mariculture plug and mounted an ORA gorg so it doesn't get blown about.

Tomorrow I'm doing a bunch of testing and maybe getting my eel, changing out my carbon, and dosing Biodigest.

 

just got finished mounting two new frags( blasto and peach hammer pics to follow) scrubbed and deep cleaned all power heads pumps, reactors, and skimmer.. in the days to follow fragging an STN moniti digi hoping to save some of it and peal off some out of control GSP that took over a portion of the tank ugh..

 

I've been polishing up my DT and system so to speak, in preparation for WI club meeting at my house January 19th!

So far I have about a dozen people
committed to coming over.

I've been actually doing some 12g and 15g WC's! the last week!
Cleaning up things, once again re-arranging my coral, etc.
And of course cleaning the glass and getting the edges scraped and cleaner.

Cleaned my power heads! Wow, at least 20-50% more flow!

Tested water, dosed carbonate. Raised mag by 50ppm. Up to 1400 now. 200 to go. Trying tech m at 1600ppm as bryopsis cure.

 

I am doing the same! Up to 1440 today, dosed to get it another 100 ppt higher.
