Moved the torch to a lower flow area. It's much happier.

Cleaned the front glass and worked on the back glass for the first time in a while. Adjusted the skimmer to get a little more skimmate with all the "junk" floating around from the cleaning. Got distracted and walked away from it. Came back 30 mins later to an overflowing skimmer and a half collection cup of black skimate I had prior to the adjustment back in the tank. :(

Skimmimg like crazy now with settings back to normal. :)

I added an Elos Osmocontroller ATO. Manually topping off 1 - 1.5 gal of RODI every day was just not going to work long term.

Sounds like quite the job going CC- BB- sand!

Glad you're happy with it, I'm sure it's nice.

Today, I had a suspicion that my UV filter wasn't working properly- just a hunch.

So, I took it apart and low and behold- the glass was covered in CaCO3, from manually dosing Kalwasser too close to the intake pump that feeds my UV filter- then it empties to my DIY Phosgurad Reactor, then into my return section of my sump.

So, I cleaned the glass real well, plugged n the light on the countertop, and then plugged in a brand new bulb I had extra. The new bulb was fuller, and from my X-Ray, UV seeing eye (LOL), I figured it also needed changing.

I also added about 60ml of phsoguard to my reactor also.

This should cut down on some algae some, before it got out of hand.

Tried to keep the family happy and added one last fish... Dori a.k.a. Hippo Tang.

It was relatively small ~2" and thin. It was moving well and eating fine in QT. I added it to the DT tonight and not a pretty picture. It was nailed 2-3 times by the Kole tang to establish dominance. Hasn't been any problems after that with him. He didn't really bite it as much as push it around. The Starry Blenny is another matter altogether. The stupid Hippo keeps following it around and hovering around it. It doesn't really flash or try to show aggression, but it's always "there" with the blenny. He is nailing it hard (battle marks up and down both sides), but the hippo seems oblivious to it. He keeps flashing at the Chalk bass, which seems to piss the blenny off further. And as expected, starting to see white ich on the back of the hippo. :( No way I'll ever get it out of that DT now. It's either gonna make it or become a CUC snack. I just hope the ich doesn't spread!

I added my 3200gph powerhead yesterday so now at any given time I'll have 4800gph of flow in my 75 :)

everyone seemed to like the new addition too the eel and the hawkfish both stayed in front of the flow for quite a while lol and the dwarf lionfish kept swimming across the flow lol its like his own little fun park now

I did a 10% WC on my 225, used that water for the WC on the 65, and live rock tub. On the 750, beginning to build the stand.
