Flushed my Midas Blenny down the drain yesterday :( Got home from work and found his head stuck in the front cage of a Koralia Evo. The only explanation I can think of is that I have the PHs on a wavemaker and when it was off it decided to stick its head through the cage to get some food and then it turned on? I have heard many times of a dead fish being stuck to the side of a PH that was running, but never the front!

Very sad though, as he was by far the most "outgoing" fish I had, always swimming out in the open, and running to the front of the glass whenever you walked by.

And I also pulled 5 Zoa Eating Nudibranches from my zoas and re-dipped all zoas. Hoping I got them all, but kind of doubt it.

    Big time

On week 3 of quarantine and recovery. Bought him very thin, but he was filling out quite nicely. This was him just a couple days ago:

I had finished final touch ups and prepping my DT and basement sump for my
Wisconson Reef Society monthly meeting last night,

Which was a HUGE HIT! We had about 30 people over, I had Cajun Fried 3 turkeys, the wifes fried rice, etc.- we all had a good time, and it was nice to meet people from my area and the people behind their screen names.

I'm on the road so I just read this whole thread, rated it and gave Todd some karma. It's cool to see how people enjoy their hobbies, even if it includes cleaning. Yuk!

    Thanks,

This thread was just to keep us thinking about good things we might want to, or do to our set ups, learning a bit of what others do, and thinking of reefing!

Funny how all my major hobbies involve water in some form somehow!
Catamaran Sailing, Masters Swimming, Reef Tanking...

All of my hobbies involve water minus skeet and trap shooting

After reading this I decided to come home put my sock on the drain and blow my rocks off with a baster. Never did I imagine the stuff that would come out of the nooks and crannys. My tank looks horrible right now. Im waiting for the cloud to settle and im going back for more...~

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Water change: Siphoned old tank water into fresh salt water, lovely!!!!!

Razor blade to stubborn algae spots.

Epoxy to a few frags and a majano that dared to show it's face.

Cleaned glass, stand, glass shield to light. Cleaned power heads.

Will dose again Alk and Ca before the day is out.
