It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Yes manually unfortunately.

With such a small tank the amount can change drastically from day to day.

Testing almost every day, today I will not test to see if I miss calculate. Or if I can get on a routine dose and adjust only as needed with coral growth.

Im doing the same at the moment, trying to find the balance and dosing manually isnt so bad. I test every 3 days or so right now.

Well, yesterday I added some coral:
    1. $500 dollar efflo (my wife almost panicked when I asked the guy to bag it)
    2. Clam
    3. What I think is Garf Purple Bonsai. (looks very similar anyway)
    4. a few different types of zoa
    5. a chalice
    6. Torch

I also did my typical dosing routine. 50 ML each of 2 part. My tank is sucking down the ca now and I'm not sure why. My corals are all still pretty small. I imagine this is going to go way up with the clam in the tank.

As usual, I had to move a few coral around, light, flow, you know...

I also adjusted a few of my powerhead/fans so that the sps areas get some more flow

I gutted my HOB filter and made it into a HOB refuge. Added an led light on it and some crushed LR, getting some chaeto for it soon.

Also went and bought a b/w clown to replace my oc that decided to go carpet surfing :(

Installed and plumbed a CPR HOB 'fuge on my 46 bow (thanks again Cosmo!). Did a 10 gal water change on the same tank.

Basically did a whole new aquascape on my 55, including moving one rock to the 'fuge and another to the 46 in an effort to free up some space. During the process I removed all of the Kenya Tree from the 55. Most of it was put in the 46, some in the 'fuge. It was starting to take over the tank, and I want it to be more of an LPS/SPS tank in the future. Much happier with the new scape, but still not perfect. Hopefully it will also calm the Royal Gramma down before I have to sump him!
